  1. Gervas Says:

  2. Gervas Says:

  3. Mswahilina Says:

    Mama, mama, mama;
    Mama kabeba kikapu kichwani;
    Mama kambeba mtoto mgongoni;
    Mama hajavaa hata kandambili;
    Mama anatembea pekupeku;
    Mama huyu inabidi amnyonyeshe mtotowe;
    Mama huyu inabidi apike kwa ajili ya familia;
    Kweli Mama zetu wa Kiafrika wanateseka sana.
    Mungu mbariki Mama.

  8. changalamacho Says:

    Its a Mans’ World.But this world would be nothing without a Woman.So, lets protect the young girls who are a vulnerable species and who will fall prey to the unsuspecting predators, Midume iliyokosa haya wala chembe ya fadhila na ustaarabu!

  14. matty Says:

    Mtani unajua Mwalimu Mswahilina anachoka kila siku mwanafunzi Gervas hasikii wala habadiliki inabidi namimi nimsaidie si unajua tena.

    Gervas namimi nimekupata senene kweye jani la mgomba ladha halisi ya chakula bora au sio? ila punguza rrrrrrr kwaenye kila sentensi.

  15. Gervas Says:

    Matty, mimi nilishashindikana, mwalimu wangu alinicharaza bakola mpaka basi tu kachoka mwenyewe, nikajua tatizo sio mimi bali jamii nilikokulia. Hivi manataka kusoma ujumbe? au herufi zimekaaje? tukianza kuwachunguza kwanza hata sentensi mnazoandika zina makosa ya kisarufi kibao…typing errors nk, mimi nawatizama tu!

  16. pyupyu Says:

  17. Lina Says:

    Jamani this picture does say a lot sana. To me it says more than umaskini na shida. It says what a village life is, it says what mothers go through to make sure they feed, cloth and educate their children. To me, just me, it shows a perfect love, the most love that a mother can give her children. Mi nimezaliwa na kukulia kwenye kijiji karibu sana na hiki, kama ningewezaa kuwaona hawa kwa karibu naweza kuwafahamu 🙂 Well, mi nilibahatika kuendelea na shule, but believe me nikiwa nyumbani nikuwa hivyo hivyo. Ndoo ya maji, kanga kiunoni, hamna malapa….just all that. I know I don’t have to do it most of the time, but to me thats what everyone else does, ndiyo maisha. And I am never happier anywhere else than wakati niko nyumbani.
    And I tell you this, these women are happier than the rich lot. Now again you try to wonder, what is life all about? is it about living happily? or is it about fighting constantly for what someone else thinks is your right? To these women, their right is to do what you see they are doing, and they do it with all their hearts, and they are happy that way. Lakini nilivyosoma the comments, when you look at them you see umaskini, unyanyaswaji na ukosefu wa elimu. Lakini hivi sio kweli mara nyingi, it is just a different way of living, at least different from cities. For me, this is a very unique and special life, and as much as I will go to school, this is the only life I wanna live, because this is what ‘life’ means to me.
    Na waume 🙂 wako vilabuni 🙂 I know thats not too good, but mara nyingi ni bora wawe huko kuliko kuwa nyumbani, maana wakiwa nyumbani ni ugomvi tu….well, I don’t miss that one.
    Ah, jamani sasa nimekumbuka sana home 😦

  18. Lina Says:

    🙂 And the things they are carrying sio vikapu au mitungi :):) they are majiko ya mkaa – wanayatengeneza kutumia udongo, I think they are going to sell them. Ni mazuri kweli, sasa ukiyaona yanauzwa mijini you better buy them, vile sasa mtakuwa mnajua yametoka wapi 🙂 You will be supporting mama zetu.
